Employee-Developed Technology. During the period of Party B’s employment with Party A and within 3 years after the termination of the employment relationship, all technological achievements including but not limited to discoveries, inventions, ideas, concepts, processes, products, methods and improvement or the part thereof (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Technological Achievements”) which are related to Party A’s business, products, programs and services and conceived, developed or completed by Party B independently or jointly with others, whether or not they can be or have been protected by intellectual property laws and no matter in what form, shall be the technologies created in carrying out the official duties of Party A and shall be the absolute properties of Party A. All rights subsisting therein including intellectual property shall be owned by Party A.

  • Employee Development The Employer may provide employees the opportunity to participate in appropriate seminars, workshops or short courses. When possible and appropriate the Employer will provide to all staff information on seminars, workshops or short courses by posting a notice on the Employer’s internal web site.

  • Background Technology List here prior contracts to assign Inventions that are now in existence between any other person or entity and you. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, Customer hereby consents to the disclosure of Customer’s identity, and such other terms of this Agreement as necessary, to such third party licensors for the purpose of enabling Company to comply with the terms and conditions of such third party licenses. Any such Customer information will be provided pursuant to an obligation of confidentiality and nondisclosure at least as stringent as that imposed by this Agreement.

  • Joint Inventions For Subject Inventions conceived or first actually reduced to practice under this Agreement that are joint Subject Inventions made by CONTRACTOR and USER, each Party shall have the option to elect and retain title to its undivided rights in such joint Subject Inventions.

  • Employee Inventions Each Employee Invention will belong exclusively to the Employer. The Executive acknowledges that all of the Executive’s writing, works of authorship, and other Employee Inventions are works made for hire and the property of the Employer, including any copyrights, patents, or other intellectual property rights pertaining thereto. If it is determined that any such works are not works made for hire, the Executive hereby assigns to the Employer all of the Executive’s right, title, and interest, including all rights of copyright, patent, and other intellectual property rights, to or in such Employee Inventions. The Executive covenants that he will promptly:

  • New Technology When new or updated technology is introduced into a workplace, it will be the responsibility of the employer to provide appropriate and, if necessary, ongoing training to the employees directly affected. Such training will include any health and safety implications or information that will enable employees to operate the equipment without discomfort and will help maintain their general well-being.

  • NASA Inventions NASA will use reasonable efforts to report inventions made under this Agreement by its employees. Upon request, NASA will use reasonable efforts to grant Partner, under 37 C.F.R. Part 404, a negotiated license to any NASA invention made under this Agreement. This license is subject to paragraph E.1. of this Article.

  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers.
