EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN AND SERVICE RATES. In the event that the CONTRACTOR wants to propose changes in CONTRACTORS’ Emergency Preparedness Plan (Exhibit 7), CONTRACTOR shall submit such changes to the TOWN by April 15th of any year, and after documentation has been submitted acceptable to the Town Manager demonstrating the basis for the changes, the changes shall normally be effective the following October 1st unless an earlier date is approved by the Town Manager. The rates and fee schedule in the Plan must be reasonable and within market rates. In no event shall the rates change by more than the CPI adjustment provided for in Section 6.8. The CONTRACTOR shall perform debris removal services when requested by the TOWN. The CONTRACTOR shall begin to assist the TOWN to clear roads and remove storm debris with heavy equipment within twenty-four (24) hours after the event passes if provided written authorization and direction from the Town Manager or designee. EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN AND SERVICE RATES. The South Florida Area possibility for a natural disaster exists each and every day. The opportunity for significant amounts of damage due to natural causes is great within our area. Because of the major risks from hurricanes, severe storms, or such other natural and man-made disaster that may occur that the CONTRACTOR will assist the TOWN with emergency debris clearance. The CONTRACTOR has experience and is capable of mobilizing into a disaster area within 12 hours following a devastating storm such as a hurricane. The CONTRACTOR’s executives and managers will work with the TOWN, County, State, Federal and all other governmental entities in which the CONTRACTOR provides service to provide comprehensive relief services to include: Pre-Disaster Services:

  • Emergency Preparedness All residents are advised to have an emergency plan. It is recommended that each resident maintain an emergency supply kit consisting of a first aid kit, three-day supply of water, non-perishable food, battery operated radio and flashlight, extra batteries, portable electronic device charger, gloves, and medications.

  • Non-Emergency Transportation Routine medical transportation to and from Medicaid-covered scheduled medical appointments is covered by the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker Medicaid program. This includes transportation via multi-passenger van services and common carriers such as public railways, buses, cabs, airlines, ambulance as appropriate, and private vehicle transportation by individuals. The NEMT broker must approve ambulance, multi-passenger van services, and transportation by common carriers. The MCO must inform enrollees of how to access non-emergency transportation as appropriate.

  • Emergency Use In the case of any civil emergency or disaster, the Licensee shall, upon request of the Issuing Authority, make available to the Town a channel for use during the civil emergency or disaster period. The Licensee shall adhere to any new Emergency notification standards as established by the Federal Communications Commission.

  • Emergency Management The plan shall also address the assumption of operations of the program or facility by Department in the event of Contractor's bankruptcy or financial insolvency or if Contractor is unable to operate the facility.

  • Emergency Maintenance LightEdge reserves the right to perform emergency Service maintenance as needed outside the Scheduled Maintenance window, in which case LightEdge will make a reasonable effort to notify the Customer if feasible under the circumstances. Any such maintenance will be considered an “Emergency Maintenance”. All Service SLAs will apply during Emergency Maintenance.

  • Emergency/Declared Disaster Requirements In the event of an emergency or if Orange County is declared a disaster area by the County, state or federal government, this Contract may be subjected to unusual usage. The Contractor shall service the County during such an emergency or declared disaster under the same terms and conditions that apply during non-emergency/disaster conditions. The pricing quoted by the Contractor shall apply to serving the County’s needs regardless of the circumstances. If the Contractor is unable to supply the goods/services under the terms of the Contract, then the Contractor shall provide proof of such disruption and a copy of the invoice for the goods/services from the Contractor’s supplier(s). Additional profit margin as a result of supplying goods/services during an emergency or a declared disaster shall not be permitted. In the event of an emergency or declared disaster, emergency purchase order numbers will be assigned. All applicable invoices from the Contractor shall show both the emergency purchase order number and the Contract number.

  • Emergency Procedures a) ENP providers shall have a written Emergency/Disaster Plan.

  • Emergency Service Leave ‌ Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from the Provincial Emergency Program or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.

  • DISASTER OR EMERGENCY REPORTS Any disaster or emergency situation, natural or man-made, such as fire or severe weather, shall be reported telephonically within 72 hours, followed by a comprehensive written report within seven days to DHA.

  • Emergency Medical Condition A medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: (1) placing the health of the individual (or with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child) in serious jeopardy; (2) serious impairment to body functions; or (3) serious dysfunction of any body organ or part.
