Relief Services Clause Samples

The Relief Services clause defines the circumstances under which a party is excused from performing its contractual obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events. In practice, this clause typically outlines the process for notifying the other party of the event, the duration of the relief period, and any obligations to mitigate the impact. Its core function is to allocate risk and provide a clear mechanism for handling unforeseen disruptions, ensuring that neither party is unfairly penalized for events outside their control.
