Common use of Educational Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Educational Leave of Absence. Leave of absence without pay, benefits or accumulation of seniority but without loss of seniority, may be granted to an employee who wishes to enroll in a post-graduate, certificate or degree course in a university or other educational institution, provided such course is related to his career at the Agency and does not exceed twenty-four (24) months duration. An educational leave of absence shall be considered only once every four (4) years.
