Dove Tailing of Seniority. In the event that the Company changes ownership, merges with another Company, changes its corporate identity in any way, resulting in a situation requiring the company to merge two or more bargaining units together, the company will ensure that the merger of the seniority list(s) is dove tailed so that the company seniority (i.e. the date of hire) is respected for each employee.
