Of Canada, CAW and its Local 240 ADDENDUM The following Commission Plan will take effect May 31, 1996, for certain sales staff employees of The Windsor Star. Immediately following ratification of this agreement, the CAW and the Company will establish a committee to discuss details of an optional Commission Plan. Should the parties fail to reach an agreement within 30 days, the Company will introduce a plan of their choice. The CAW will provide a Letter of Commitment to work towards this goal in a constructive and co-operative manner. The current incentive plan will from this day forward be referred to as a Commission Plan. It is understood that reasonable changes may be made in the Commission Plan and in sales territories from time to time in accordance with the operational requirements of the Company. When a change is contemplated, the Company agrees to discuss this with the CAW and the affected employee(s). Sales staff covered by the current Commission Plan shall have the option of enrolling in the new Commission Plan at the beginning of any quarter. Once such an election is made, they may not revert to the old plan. All new hires to The Windsor Star after January 1, 1999 will be on the new Commission Plan. Inside Sales staff (Group 4) will remain on the 70/30 salary/commission split. The grids in Article 17 - General Wage Provision/Minimum Salaries reflect base salaries under the current Commission Plan. Employees who choose the optional Commission Plan shall have their base salaries adjusted to reflect the optional plan’s splits.
