Court Holidays Sample Clauses

Court Holidays. The purpose of this provision is to achieve consistency in the scheduling of holidays in the District Attorney's Office and the courts with those holidays observed by the courts and shall not be construed to provide greater or lesser compensation for, or number of holidays than received each fiscal year by employees assigned to work in other County departments.

Court Holidays. Security Officers assigned at the Hall of Justice will not be paid at the holiday rate for court holidays which are different from County holidays.
Court Holidays. 13 Employees who are assigned to units, which observe court holidays shall 14 be allowed to work in other assignments on the court holiday, provided they have 17 employee's normal hours of work.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Vacation; Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.

  • GENERAL HOLIDAYS 13.01 The following days shall be recognized and considered as paid general holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Xxxxx Xxx Day and any other day or portion of a day designated as a paid holiday by the Civic, Provincial or Federal Government.
