Course Work Options. Faculty Members shall file "Prior Approval" forms to apply additional credit towards changes in Ranges. Applicable course work must be judged by the appropriate Administrator to be of recognized quality and to be relevant to each Faculty Member's current assignment. Courses will be graduate courses, except for undergraduate courses deemed relevant to the Faculty member’s assignment by the appropriate Administrator. No credit can be earned for experiences which involve reassigned time (except for Faculty Members on Sabbatical Leave or One Semester Non-teaching Assignment) from normal teaching, office hours, and/or contractual responsibilities or involve remuneration from the College other than reimbursement for tuition and/or fees.

Course Work Options. Faculty Members shall file "Prior Approval" forms to apply additional credit towards changes in Ranges. Applicable course work must be judged by the appropriate Administrator to be of recognized quality and to be relevant to each Faculty Member's current assignment. Courses may include graduate courses, undergraduate courses and "in-house" College of DuPage offerings. 2/3 of the hours needed for a range change must be earned in graduate/undergraduate course work within one’s field or in areas related to the Faculty assignment. A maximum of 1/3 of the hours needed for a range change may be course work for personal development or professional experience(s) directly related to their teaching field as approved by their Xxxx/appropriate Administrator. Credit for professional experience is granted by the FCAC, Faculty Committee on Alternative Credit, according to the "Staff Development Alternative Credit Guidelines" of the FCAC committee. See Section J 1.4, STAFF DEVELOPMENT: ALTERNATIVE CREDIT, of this Contractual Agreement.   • EMPLOYEE WORK YEAR A. In-School Work Year

  • Annual Work Plans (a) The Recipient shall prepare in accordance with guidelines acceptable to the Association and furnish to the Association not later than March 31 in each calendar year, a proposed annual work plan and budget for the Project for the following fiscal year of the Recipient, of such scope and in such detail as the Association shall reasonably request.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s). Employees may refer safety related workload concerns to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee for investigation under Article 22.3 (Occupational Health and Safety Committee).

  • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Modified Work/Return to Work Programs The Hospital and the Union recognize the purpose of modified work/return to work programs, is to provide fair and consistent practices for accommodating nurses who have been ill, injured or permanently disabled, to enable their early and safe return to work. The parties undertake to provide safe and meaningful employment for both permanently or temporarily disabled nurses based on the following principles:

  • PROPRIETARY/RESTRICTIVE SPECIFICATIONS If a prospective bidder considers the specification contained herein to be proprietary or restrictive in nature, thus potentially resulting in reduced competition, they are urged to contact the Procurement Division prior to bid opening. Specifications which are unrelated to performance will be considered for deletion via addendum to this Invitation for Bids.

  • THE WORKS 3.1 The Contractor undertakes to execute the Works in a proper and workmanlike manner against payment of the Contract Price referred to in clause 4 of this Agreement.

  • Site Work An expansion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Boonville Station is required to accommodate the CTOIFs. The southern corner of the fence line will be expanded out by approximately 3,200 square feet. The Connecting Transmission Owner already owns the property required for the expansion. Approximately 120 feet of the existing fencing will need to be removed and approximately 150 feet of new fencing added.

  • Scope of Works CHAPTER III

  • Rights in Work Product (a) In the course of its performance under this Purchase Order, Seller may conceive or reduce to practice inventions, discoveries, improvements, concepts, in tangible or intangible form, written materials, documentation, databases, designs, discs, tapes, programs, software, architectures, files and other material (collectively “Work Product”). Any and all rights in intellectual property, including without limitation, copyrights (including mask work rights), patents, design rights, database rights, rights in know-how, trade secrets and other confidential information and other similar rights worldwide, whether registered or not and including any applications for the foregoing (collectively “Intellectual Property”) in and to the Work Product shall be the exclusive property of TI from the date of inception. All Work Product shall be deemed "work-for-hire" as defined under United States copyright law and shall be the exclusive property of TI from the date of inception. If the Work Product does not qualify as a "work-for-hire", then in any event all Intellectual Property rights in and to the Work Product, including the copyright, will be deemed automatically transferred to TI from its inception. Xxxxxx agrees to assign and hereby assigns to TI Intellectual Property rights in and to all Work Product and waives any moral rights in favor of TI. TI shall have the exclusive worldwide right to use, edit, translate, publish, transfer or sell the Work Product prepared by Seller in any manner that TI deems fit without further payment to Seller. The Work Product shall be deemed to be TI confidential information and shall not be disclosed to other than TI or used by Seller or others without TI’s prior written consent.
