Construction Site Safety. Developer shall provide and install, at its expense, adequate barricades, flaggers, warning signs and similar safety devices at all construction sites within the public right-of-way and/or other areas as deemed necessary by the City Engineer, City Public Works Department, and Traffic Engineer in accordance with any and all Federal regulations, the City’s Policies and Procedures, Utah Department of Transportation Requirements, OHSA, and Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Developer shall not remove said safety devices until construction of the Improvements has been completed.

It is desirable that the Public Works Inspector I has current 40-hour Hazmat training. The Public Works Inspector I shall have the following training prior to working for the Portland Water Bureau: (1) Work Zone Traffic Control; (2) 10-hour OSHA Compliance for Construction Safety (within the past 3 years); (3) Excavation/Trench Hazard Recognition and Evaluation (within the past 3 years); (4) First Aid/CPR (current certification required); (5) Confined Space Entry Hazard Recognition and Evaluation (within the past 3 years); (6) Writing/Communication/Interaction.   • Construction Management Landlord or its Affiliate or agent shall supervise the Work, make disbursements required to be made to the contractor, and act as a liaison between the contractor and Tenant and coordinate the relationship between the Work, the Building and the Building’s Systems. In consideration for Landlord’s construction supervision services, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a construction supervision fee equal to three percent (3%) of Tenant’s Costs specified in Section 7.
