Construction Health & Safety Agent (SACPCMP registered) hour The unit of measurement shall the number of hours for which work has been undertaken by the Construction Health & Safety Agent (SACPCMP registered), including travel time. The consultant will be required to provide a timesheet detailing each activity to substantiate his fee claim. Time-based services can only be claimed upon written instruction from the Employer. The consultant will be expected to provide all the necessary infrastructure, equipment and resources to undertake the project and the cost thereof will be deemed to be included in the tendered hourly rates.

Construction Health & Safety Agent (SACPCMP. The construction Health & Safety Agent act as a link between the client, Principal Contractor and the project team members with respect to health & Safety, They are required to ensure that the client carry out its H&S responsibilities in terms of Legislation as well as to co-ordinate and ensure good H&S practices are maintained throughout the duration of the project. In many cases this role starts from project Initiation to project close-out.

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.

  • Construction Safety Prior to contract award, the successful bidder must provide a Certificate of Recognition or Letter of Good Standing issued by an occupational health and safety organization approved by the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia.

  • Site Safety Buyer shall comply with all federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards applicable to the Site and to the Equipment on which Siemens will perform the Services. Siemens shall not be obligated to commence or perform Services unless Buyer’s Site complies with all applicable safety requirements. In the event Buyer’s Site safety is non- compliant, Siemens may suspend the Services until such time as Buyer corrects the non-compliance. To the extent Siemens incurs additional time and expense as the result of Buyer’s non-compliance, Siemens shall be entitled to an equitable adjustment in the schedule, price and other affected provisions of the Agreement.

  • Construction Administration Services The Engineer shall perform construction administration services during construction as necessary. Such services shall, as part of the services to be rendered for the Engineer's established fee, include as much of the Engineer's professional services and the services of the Engineer's consultants as the State deems necessary for the well-being of the project and efficient prosecution of the construction work, but shall not include the Engineer's undertaking continuous on-site observation of the work. If the Engineer fails to perform such duties in a conscientious and reasonable manner, the State may exercise its right to terminate this contract as hereinafter provided in Section T. Additionally, it is understood and agreed to by the Engineer and the State that the duties of the Engineer shall include, but not be limited to, the following services:

  • D7 Health and Safety D7.1 The Contractor shall promptly notify the Authority of any health and safety hazards which may arise in connection with the performance of its obligations under the Contract. The Authority shall promptly notify the Contractor of any health and safety hazards which may exist or arise at the Authority’s Premises and which may affect the Contractor in the performance of its obligations under the Contract.

  • Work Health and Safety (a) The employer and employee acknowledge their responsibilities under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012.

  • D5 Health and Safety D5.1 The Contractor shall promptly notify the Authority of any health and safety hazards which may arise in connection with the performance of its obligations under the Contract. The Authority shall promptly notify the Contractor of any health and safety hazards which may exist or arise at the Authority’s Premises and which may affect the Contractor in the performance of its obligations under the Contract.

  • Health and Safety Representatives 58.1 The Employer and its Employees will comply with Part 7 of the OHS Act – Representation of Employees in relation to the establishment of designated work groups and the election of Health and Safety Representatives.

  • Occupational Health & Safety (a) It is a mutual interest of the parties to promote health and safety in workplaces and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of workplace injuries and occupational diseases. The parties agree that health and safety is of the utmost importance and agree to promote health and safety and wellness throughout the organization. The employer shall provide orientation and training in health and safety to new and current employees on an ongoing basis, and employees shall attend required health and safety training sessions. Accordingly, the parties fully endorse the responsibilities of employer and employee under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, making particular reference to the following:

  • Construction Management Landlord or its Affiliate or agent shall supervise the Work, make disbursements required to be made to the contractor, and act as a liaison between the contractor and Tenant and coordinate the relationship between the Work, the Building and the Building’s Systems. In consideration for Landlord’s construction supervision services, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a construction supervision fee equal to three percent (3%) of Tenant’s Costs specified in Section 7.
