CONDITION OF DWELLING. By signing this Lease and the Unit Inspection Report, the Resident acknowledges that the dwelling unit is safe, clean and in good condition, and that all appliances and equipment in the dwelling unit are in good working order as described on the Move-in Unit Inspection Report. This report, signed by both the Resident and Landlord, is attached to this Lease. At the time of move out, the Landlord shall complete another inspection of the dwelling unit. When the Resident notifies the Landlord of his or her intent to vacate, the Landlord shall advise the Resident of their opportunity to participate in the move-out inspection.

CONDITION OF DWELLING. Move-in Inspection: The Landlord and Tenant or representative shall inspect the dwelling unit within 30 days of occupancy by Tenant. The Landlord will give Tenant a written statement of the condition of the dwelling unit, both inside and outside, and note any equipment provided with the unit. The statement retained in the Tenant’s file. Any deficiencies noted on the inspection report will be corrected by the Landlord, at no charge to Tenant.

When the Resident notifies the Housing Authority by completing the Notice of Intent to Vacate form in writing of his or her intent to vacate, the Housing Authority shall advise the Resident of their opportunity to participate in the move-out inspection.

Tenant must provide the Landlord with a date they are moving from the dwelling unit and return all keys to the Landlord when vacating the premises. If the Tenant fails to give reasonable and proper notice to the Landlord of their intention to vacate the dwelling as described in this lease, the Tenant may lose their opportunity to participate in the move- out inspection. At the time of the move-out inspection, the Tenant shall be provided with a copy of the Move-Out Inspection Report. The Tenant shall sign the Move-Out Inspection Report and if there are any objections to the contents of the Report, they must file an objection with 10 days of receipt of same. The Tenant may obtain a copy of the Move-Out Inspection Report if they are not present during the inspection. If the Tenant fails to provide a forwarding address to the Landlord, they may lose their right to obtain a copy of the Move-Out Inspection Report.
