CHARACTER OF THE WORK. 12.1 Unless otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, the Work must be performed in accordance with the best, modern practice, with new materials and workmanship of the highest quality, to the satisfaction of the Director. All materials required for the Work shall be new, free from all defects, of the best available grade and quality, entirely satisfactory for the purpose intended, furnished in ample quantities to prevent delays, and in accordance with all requirements of this Agreement.

CHARACTER OF THE WORK. It is the intent of this contract to remove and renew the roof coping and related structural reinforcement and other work at the Whitehall Ferry Terminal in New York, NY as set forth in the Detailed Requirements and Contract Plans as well as any addenda which may be issued thereto.

  • SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, perform all of the Work, and do all things required by the Contract Documents.

  • Cost of the Work § 6.1 For purposes of this Agreement, the Cost of the Work shall be the total cost to the Owner to construct all elements of the Project designed or specified by the Architect and shall include contractors’ general conditions costs, overhead and profit. The Cost of the Work also includes the reasonable value of labor, materials, and equipment, donated to, or otherwise furnished by, the Owner. The Cost of the Work does not include the compensation of the Architect; the costs of the land, rights-of-way, financing, or contingencies for changes in the Work; or other costs that are the responsibility of the Owner.

  • Completion of the Work The Contractor must obtain Material Completion as defined in Section 6.1.2 below prior to any occupancy of the Project.

  • Development of the Property Except as modified by this Agreement, the Development and the Property will be developed in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including but not limited to the City’s ordinances and the zoning regulations applicable to the Property, and such amendments to City ordinances and regulations that that may be applied to the Development and the Property under Chapter 245, Texas Local Government Code, and good engineering practices (the “Applicable Regulations”). If there is a conflict between the Applicable Regulations and the Development Standards, the Development Standards shall control.
