REGULAR SERVICES BY COUNTY 23 1. COUNTY, through its Sheriff-Coroner and deputies, officers and employees, 24 hereinafter referred to as “SHERIFF”, shall render to CITY law enforcement 25 services as hereinafter provided. Such services shall include the 26 enforcement of lawful State statutes and lawful municipal ordinances of 27 CITY other than licensing ordinances.
STATEMENT OF MUTUAL BENEFIT AND INTERESTS In consideration of the above premises, the parties agree as follows:
Benefit Payments Benefit Payments, as referred to in this Agreement, means the sum of (i) Claims, as described in Xxxxxxxxx 0 xxxxx, (xx) Cash Surrender Values, as described in Paragraph 3 below, and (iii) Annuity Payments, as described in Paragraph 7 below.
Tax Sheltered Annuity Voluntary adjunct employee salary reductions for Internal Revenue Code Section 403(b) tax-sheltered annuities and 457(b) deferred compensation shall be available to adjunct employees covered by this Agreement. Contracts shall be arranged individually through the Office of the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services or designee subject to regulation by the College.
Supplemental Benefits The employer shall maintain a “Supplemental Unemployment Benefits Plan” pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act and Regulations. The employer shall make amendments as appropriate to ensure that the Plan provides the maximum permissible benefits in conjunction with Article 17.03.
Repayment of Qualified Birth or Adoption Distribution If you have taken a qualified birth or adoption distribution, you may generally repay all or a portion of the aggregate amount of such distribution to an IRA, as permitted by the IRS. Tax Deferred Annuities The Board of Directors for the District shall provide and pay for such tax deferred annuities pursuant to RCW 28A.400.250 as the union shall request and the Board of Directors shall authorize. Payment for said annuities shall be at the option of the employee and deducted from the monthly salary as authorized by the individual employee.
Tax Sheltered Annuities The SPS shall continue to comply with the law(s) regarding Tax Sheltered Annuities.
Rollovers of Settlement Payments From Bankrupt Airlines If you are a qualified airline employee who has received a qualified airline settlement payment from a commercial airline carrier under the approval of an order of a federal bankruptcy court, you are allowed to roll over up to 90 percent of the proceeds to your Traditional IRA, within 180 days after receipt of such amount, or by a later date if extended by federal law. If you make such a rollover contribution, you may exclude the amount rolled over from your gross income in the taxable year in which the airline settlement payment was paid to you. If you are a qualified airline employee who has received a qualified airline settlement payment from a commercial airline carrier under the approval of an order of a federal bankruptcy court in a case filed after September 11, 2001, and before January 1, 2007, you are allowed to roll over any portion of the proceeds into your Xxxx XXX within 180 days after receipt of such amount, or by a later date if extended by federal law. Other Group Benefits 7.4.1 Payments towards benefit plans by the Employer shall permit it to retain and not pass on to teachers, any rebates of premiums otherwise required under Canada Employment and Immigration Commission (previously Unemployment Insurance Commission) regulations.
