Effective August 1, 1993, and as amended herein by the Board of Supervisors, the County shall administer a Retiree Medical Plan (Plan) for employees to include a Retiree Medical Grant (Grant) or a lump sum benefit (Lump Sum) as set forth below.
Faculty members electing coverage under any of the Medical Plan options will contribute an amount per paycheck which will be calculated with the contribution at the median University salary level equal to 17% of the cost of coverage for the 90/70 PPO, 18.5% of the cost of coverage for the 85/60 PPO, 15% of the cost of coverage for the 80/60 PPO, and 13% of the cost of coverage for the HDHP.
Effective August 1, 1993 and as amended by the Board of Supervisors, the County implemented a Retiree Medical Plan (“the Plan”) for employees who have retired from County service and who meet certain eligibility requirements of the Plan.
The employee contribution shall be as follows: Moda Moda Medical Plan 2 equivalent 11% of the monthly premium Moda Medical Plan 3 equivalent 7% of the monthly premium Moda Medical Plan 4 equivalent 3% of the monthly premium Moda Medical Plan 6 equivalent 0% of the monthly premium and $1,250 annually placed into a Health Savings Account (HSA) by the District.
Faculty members electing any of the Medical Plan options will be covered under the current vision care benefit plan.
