Auxiliary (Volunteer) Training. Principle: The supervisor in charge of a volunteer coordinates all the training for the volunteer. All volunteers shall receive a general orientation on the nature and purpose of the City of Lakewood Police Department. Additional orientation will be provided to introduce members to the personnel, policies, procedures, and nature and operations of the specific program or activity in which they will be participating. Specific training will be provided to give members the information and skills necessary to perform any task assigned to them. Volunteers shall receive periodic ongoing training as deemed appropriate by their supervisor or the Volunteer Coordinator. Training shall reinforce to volunteers that they may not intentionally represent themselves as, or by omission imply, that they are sworn officers or other full- time members of the department.   • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • First Aid Training a) The Employer will encourage employees to take first-aid and refresher courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.

  • In-Service Training If the College requires an employee to participate in an in-service training program, the employee shall use release time for time spent in the training and travel time in excess of the employee’s regular commute time. An employee shall not normally be scheduled to work the shift immediately before or after the training. However, this scheduling shall be permitted if an employee volunteers for it or if the employee is assigned to a shift on an overtime basis to meet minimum staffing requirements.

  • Technical Training 3.1 Party A agrees hereby to provide the following training service to party B and its staffs:

  • Trainings iv. Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Maintenance Training 16.8.1 The Seller will provide maintenance training for the Buyer’s ground personnel as further set forth in Appendix A to this Clause 16.   • Board Member Training Within 90 days after the Effective Date, each member of the Board of Directors shall receive at least two hours of training. This training shall address the corporate governance responsibilities of board members, and the responsibilities of board members with respect to review and oversight of the Compliance Program. Specifically, the training shall address the unique responsibilities of health care Board members, including the risks, oversight areas, and strategic approaches to conducting oversight of a health care entity. This training may be conducted by an outside compliance expert hired by the Board and should include a discussion of the OIG’s guidance on Board member responsibilities.‌ New members of the Board of Directors shall receive the Board Member Training described above within 30 days after becoming a member or within 90 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.
