EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT Sample Clauses

The Emergency Procurement clause allows an organization to bypass standard procurement procedures in urgent situations where immediate action is necessary. Typically, this clause applies when unforeseen events, such as natural disasters or critical equipment failures, require the rapid acquisition of goods or services to prevent harm or significant disruption. By enabling expedited purchasing processes, the clause ensures that essential resources can be obtained quickly, thereby minimizing operational downtime and addressing emergencies effectively.
