Attendance at Work; Absence without Leave. Employees shall be in attendance at their work in accordance with the rules regarding hours of work, holidays, and leaves. All departments shall keep daily attendance records of employees, which shall be reported to the Administrative Services Director or his/her designee in the form and on the dates they shall specify.

Attendance at Work; Absence without Leave. Employees shall be in attendance at their work in accordance with the rules regarding hours of work, holidays, and leaves. All departments shall keep daily attendance records of employees which shall be reported to the Finance Director in the form and on the dates they shall specify. Failure on the part of an employee, absent without leave, to return to duty within forty-eight (48) hours after a due notice to return to work has been delivered shall be cause for immediate dismissal. A certified letter mailed by U.S. mail to the employee's last known address without regard to whether delivery is accepted, combined with a letter by ordinary mail, first class postage prepaid thereon, shall constitute reasonable notice. This requires both methods of mailing.
