ACADEMIC ALLOWANCES. 8.01 In addition to salary or allowances as per Article 6.00 and 7.00 of this Agreement, a Teacher shall receive an academic allowance for a graduate degree or diploma, provided in all cases that these qualifications represent studies in excess of the requirements for category placement as per Article 3.00 of this agreement, and provided also in all cases that these studies are relevant to the employment of the Teacher. 8.02 A Master’s degree as shown by an OSSTF Certification Rating Statement with Seal. 8.03 A Doctorate as shown by an OSSTF Certification Rating Statement with Seal and a letter from the OSSTF Certification Branch stating that the post-graduate degree is a doctorate. 8.04 In no case shall a Teacher receive more than one (1) allowance under this -Article 8.00.
ACADEMIC ALLOWANCES. An allowance will be paid, in addition to basic salary, for each Ontario Specialist Certificate not used by Q.E.C.O. in determining a teacher’s salary position on the grid as follows: September 1, 2004 $510.00 September 1, 2005 $520.20 September 1, 2006 $530.60 February 1, 2007 $535.91 September 1, 2007 $545.56 February 1, 2008 $553.19
ACADEMIC ALLOWANCES. The non-cumulative additional rates of pay hereinafter set forth shall be paid to a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for the academic attainments herein set forth: Upon completion of an approved clinical course, or an approved course in gerontology, or a Registered Nurse with a Psychiatric Nurse Diploma, or a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, or Masters, or a Baccalaureate Degree in Arts (major in Psychology or Sociology) or a Baccalaureate Degree in Science (major in Biology or Chemistry): cents ($0.30) per hour above normal placement In the event that the Employer transfers the delivery of Home Care services to another employer, the Employer shall notify the Union in writing at least one hundred and twenty (I 20) days in advance of any transfer of services. The notification to the Union shall identify which services are being transferred, the name of the employer to which the services are being transferred and the names of the nurses within the bargaining unit affected by the transfer of services. At the request of either party, the parties shall meet to discuss the impact of the transfer.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Other Allowances The District shall pay to each teacher appointed by the District to the following positions, the allowance respectively set forth opposite each such position, namely: (a) Supervisor 23,305 (b) Consultant 11,103 (c) Coordinating teacher 3,771

  • Travel Allowances There shall be no payments for travel expenses, travel time, subsistence allowance or other such reimbursements or special pay except as expressly set forth in this Agreement.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
