Work definition

Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.
Work means all required labor, articles, materials, supplies, goods, and services constituting the subject matter of this Contract.
Work means the work of authorship, whether in Source or Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work (an example is provided in the Appendix below).

Examples of Work in a sentence

  • During the term of this Agreement, Employee agrees to a Hybrid Work Agreement, where Employee’s primary worksite is Employee’s home and secondary worksite is a designated office location of the Employer.

  • Contractor irrevocably designates and appoints the Company and its duly authorized officers and agents as its agent and attorney-in-fact, to act for and on its behalf and stead to, in accordance with Section 4.3, execute and file any such instruments and papers and to do all other lawfully permitted acts to further the application for, prosecution, issuance, maintenance or transfer of letters patent, copyright and other registrations related to all Work.

  • Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to reduce or limit Employer's rights, title, or interest in any Work Product or Intellectual Property Rights so as to be less in any respect than Employer would have had in the absence of this Agreement.

  • Executive shall deliver to the Company at the termination of the Employment Period, or at any other time the Company may request, all memoranda, notes, plans, records, reports, computer files and related back-ups, printouts, software, and other documents and data (and copies thereof) relating to the Confidential Information, Work Product (as defined in Section 6), or the business of any Ladder Company which Executive may then possess or have under Executive’s control.

  • Contractor will promptly disclose to ‎Company, and keep Company informed of, all Work ‎Developed during the Term, in a reasonable ‎manner or in accordance with any applicable Company ‎policies.


More Definitions of Work

Work means and include supply of all the materials, plants and equipment and rendering of other services by the supplier under this contract.
Work means materials, workmanship, and manufacture and fabrication of components.
Work means the administration, procurement, materials, equipment, construction and all services necessary for the Contractor, and/or its agents, to fulfill the Contractor’s obligations under the Contract.

Work or ‘CONTRACT WORK’ shall mean and include the work to be done in relevant work category by the firm or as specified in the Tender documents.
