Work definition

Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.
Work means all required labor, articles, materials, supplies, goods, and services constituting the subject matter of this Contract.
Work means the work of authorship, whether in Source or Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work (an example is provided in the Appendix below).

Examples of Work in a sentence

  • By this review, Contractor will be deemed to represent that it has determined and verified all necessary requirements including field measurements, field construction criteria, materials, catalogue numbers and similar data and has checked and coordinated all Submittals with all requirements or specifications for the Work as set forth within this Agreement.

  • In the event that conditions at a Site result in a delay or increase the cost of the Work, and any such conditions were actually known, or that should have been known to Contractor as set forth in this Agreement prior to commencing the Work, such costs and the effect of such delay shall be the responsibility of Contractor.

  • Commencing on NTP date and until the Final Completion Date, and thereafter as contemplated in Article 12, Owner shall provide Contractor and Subcontractors access to the Site, which access shall be sufficient to permit Contractor to progress with its performance of the Work on a continuous basis without material interruption or interference by others.

  • Contractor shall perform any portion of the Work contained in a limited Notice to Proceed (each an “LNTP”) executed by the Parties in relation to the Project either before or after execution of this Agreement and prior to issuance of a Notice to Proceed in accordance with the terms of such LNTP.

  • Payment of any Invoice shall not constitute Owner’s approval of any portion of the Project or the Work which has been determined not to be, or subsequently is determined not to have been, performed in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement.


More Definitions of Work

Work means and include supply of all the materials, plants and equipment and rendering of other services by the supplier under this contract.
Work means the administration, procurement, materials, equipment, construction and all services necessary for the Contractor, and/or its agents, to fulfill the Contractor’s obligations under the Contract.
Work means materials, workmanship, and manufacture and fabrication of components.
Work means the Goods delivered and Services performed pursuant to this Contract.
Work or “Contract Work” may be used interchangeably to refer to any or all the facilities, services, labor, Materials and other items necessary for the performance, completion and fulfillment of the Agreement by the Contractor to the satisfaction of the Judicial Council.
Work means the carrying out and the doing of all things, whether of a temporary or permanent nature, that are to be done by the Contractor pursuant to the Contract and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes the furnishing of all equipment, facilities, material, labour and services necessary for or incidental to the fulfilment of the requirements of the Contract.
Work or ‘CONTRACT WORK’ shall mean and include the work to be done in relevant work category by the firm or as specified in the Tender documents.
