Work or Works definition

Work or Works means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

Work or Works means all or any of the items of the work for which the Tenderer / Contractor has tendered / contracted according to the specification, and annexures hereto annexed or to be implied there from or incidental thereto or to be hereafter specified or required in such explanatory instructions being in conformity with the original specifications, annexures and schedules and also such instructions additional to the aforementioned as may from time to time be issued by the Director General RDSO through Executive Director (Testing) & Director Testing/Labs during the progress of the contracted work.

Work or Works. Means all or any of the items of the work for which the Tenderer/Contractor has Tendered/contracted according to the specifications, drawings and Annexure hereto annexed or to be implied there from, or incidental thereto or to be hereafter specified or required in such explanatory instructions and drawings, being in conformity with the original specifications, drawings, Annexure and schedules and also such instructions and drawings additional to the aforementioned as may from time to time be issued by the Purchaser's Engineer during the progress of the contracted work.

Work or Works means the works to be executed or done under this contract. "Act of Insolvency" shall mean any act as such as defined by the Presidency Town Insolvency Act or in Provincial Insolvency Act or any amending statutes.

EMPLOYER: - shall mean Director General, CSIR or any officer authorized by Director General for the purpose. COMPENSATION: - shall mean all sums payable by way of compensation under any of the conditions shall be considered as reasonable compensation without reference to the actual loss or damage sustained and whether or not any damage sustained, and whether or not any damage shall have been sustained. Words imputing persons include firms and corporations; words imputing the singular only also include the plural and vice versa where the context so required . The headings are given to the clauses for convenience and they will not limit the meaning or scope of the clauses in any way. 2. DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIOS The contractor shall execute whole and every part of the work in the most substantial and workmanlike manner both as regards material and otherwise in every respect in accordance with the specifications. The contractor shall also conform exactly and faithfully to the design, drawings and instructions given in the respect of the work by Engineer. The contractor shall be furnished free of charge one copy of such specifications and all such designs, drawings and instructions as are not included in the printed publications.

Work or Works means the Patrol Boat services to be provided and work to be done, executed or carried out by the contractor as per the scope of work under the contract.

Work or Works means the plant & equipment to be supplied to be rendered by the Contractor under the Contract Documents.

Work or Works means Permanent Works and/or Temporary Works to be executed in accordance with the Contract.
