Unregistered motor vehicle definition

Unregistered motor vehicle means any motor vehicle that is located upon a highway and that is not displaying valid reg- istration plates, a temporary operation plate, or other evidence of registration as provided under s. 341.18 (1) for the vehicle’s cur- rent registration period or for a registration period for the vehicle that expired within the immediately preceding 31 days.
Unregistered motor vehicle means any Motor Vehicle which is without proper evidence of registration in Illinois as required by and described in Sec. 3-701 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/3-701) or corresponding provisions of future Illinois Compiled Statutes. As of the date of enactment of this Ordinance, those Motor Vehicles bearing proper evidence of registration under said Section are only as follows:

Unregistered motor vehicle means any motor vehicle that is not currently registered and which is located upon a high- way for such time and under such circumstances as to cause the motor vehicle to reasonably appear to have been unregistered for not less than 30 days.
