Security Sensitive Work definition

Security Sensitive Work means any of the Services that requires (i) unescorted access of Supplier Personnel to any Company location, facility, or worksite; (ii) deploying any Supplier Personnel to perform Services at any Company customer location, facility, or worksite; or (iii) granting access to Company networks (i.e., having a GE-issued single sign-on account) to Supplier Personnel. To the extent permissible by applicable law, prior to Supplier or Supplier’s Personnel engaging in any Security Sensitive Work, Supplier shall, after securing written authorization from Supplier’s Personnel and at Supplier’s expense, perform background screening consistent with Company’s “Requirements for Supplier Personnel Screening” attached hereto as Schedule C. This screening shall include the prior seven (7) year period covering all locations in which Supplier’s Personnel resided and will verify employment details during this period. Supplier shall retain a copy of this screening report for Company’s inspection for at least three (3) years following the performance of such Security Sensitive Work by Supplier’s Personnel. Company reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, the type of work that will be designated as “security sensitive” under this Agreement.
Security Sensitive Work means any Functions or other obligations of the Independent Certifier which: (i) the Authority designates as “Security Sensitive Work” by giving not less than 15 Business Days advance notice or in response to an SSW Request; or (ii) requires or permits any individual engaged by the Independent Certifier to:
Security Sensitive Work means all or any part of the Design, Construction, Services or other obligations of Project Co pursuant to the Project Agreement which: (i) the Authority designates as “Security Sensitive Work” by giving not less than 15 Business Days advance notice or in response to an SSW Request; or (ii) requires or permits any individual engaged by Project Co or a Project Co Person to:

Examples of Security Sensitive Work in a sentence

  • Unless conflicting with any applicable laws, Supplier shall, consistent with the requirements set out in Company’s “Requirements for Supplier Personnel Screening” attached hereto as Schedule C, perform an initial drug screen prior to the commencement of the Services, if the Services require Supplier Personnel to engage in Security Sensitive Work.

  • To the extent permissible by applicable law, prior to Supplier or Supplier’s Personnel engaging in any Security Sensitive Work, Supplier shall, after securing written authorization from Supplier’s Personnel and at Supplier’s expense, perform background screening consistent with Company’s “Requirements for Supplier Personnel Screening” attached hereto as Schedule C.

  • Supplier shall retain a copy of this screening report for Company’s inspection for at least three (3) years following the performance of such Security Sensitive Work by Supplier’s Personnel.

  • Project Co shall comply with the requirements regarding Security Sensitive Work set out in Section 11 [Security Sensitive Work] of Schedule 12 [Safety and Security].

  • The Authority will review each SSW Request and will provide a written response confirming whether the work described in the SSW Request is Security Sensitive Work within 3 Business Days after receipt of the complete SSW Request.

  • For clarity, a periodic Background Check under Section 6.18(h)(i) of this Schedule 2 [Design and Construction Protocols] will not be required for an individual that ceases to be designated as a Key Individual or that ceases to perform Security Sensitive Work within seven years of a previously completed Background Check.

  • The Independent Certifier will not permit any individual to perform any Security Sensitive Work unless such individual has successfully completed a CPIC check.

  • If Project Co is uncertain whether certain Project work constitutes Security Sensitive Work, Project Co may submit a written request for a determination to the Authority’s Representative at least 30 Business Days prior to the date on which such work is scheduled to commence (an “SSW Request”).

  • The Independent Certifier will not permit any individual who has previously failed a CPIC check under this IC Agreement to perform Security Sensitive Work, without the prior written consent of the Authority.

  • The Contractor will not permit any Contractor personnel that have not successfully completed a periodic Background Check required under Section 6.18(h)(i) or Section 6.18(h)(ii) of this Schedule 2 [Design and Construction Protocols] to perform Security Sensitive Work, unless each such personnel is accompanied by an escort as described in Section 6.18(l) of this Schedule 2 [Design and Construction Protocols] when performing Security Sensitive Work.

Related to Security Sensitive Work

  • Contractor Sensitive Information means any information provided by the Contractor to the Authority (disregarding any protective marking or assertion of confidentiality) which: is specified as Contractor Sensitive Information in Schedule 7 and has not lost its sensitivity according to the justifications and durations set out in that Schedule; and is exempt information pursuant to sections 33(1) or 36, 38 or 39 of FOISA (having regard for that purpose to the public interest there might be in disclosing such information as referred to in section 2(1)(b) of FOISA).

  • Contractor Commercially Sensitive Information means the information listed in the Contractor Commercial Sensitive Information Annex to the Contract being information notified by the Contractor to the Authority which is acknowledged by the Authority as being commercially sensitive information.

  • Safety-sensitive position means a job, including any supervisory or management position, in which an impairment caused by drug or alcohol usage would threaten the health or safety of any person.

  • Commercially Sensitive Information means the Information (i) listed in the Commercially Sensitive Information Schedule; or (ii) notified to the Authority in writing (prior to the commencement of this Contract) which has been clearly marked as Commercially Sensitive Information comprised of information:

  • Collective Work means a work, such as a periodical issue, anthology or encyclopedia, in which the Work in its entirety in unmodified form, along with a number of other contributions, constituting separate and independent works in themselves, are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.

  • Safety-sensitive function means a job function or duty where a Covered Employee either:

  • DXC Sensitive Information means DXC Confidential Information, Intellectual Property, PHI, DXC Customer data, and Personal Information.

  • live-work unit means a unit intended for both residential and non-residential uses concurrently;

  • Contractor attributional/proprietary information means information that identifies the contractor(s), whether directly or indirectly, by the grouping of information that can be traced back to the contractor(s) (e.g., program description, facility locations), personally identifiable information, as well as trade secrets, commercial or financial information, or other commercially sensitive information that is not customarily shared outside of the company.

  • Environmentally Sensitive Material means oil, oil products and any other substance (including any chemical, gas or other hazardous or noxious substance) which is (or is capable of being or becoming) polluting, toxic or hazardous;

  • Sensitive Data means information that is protected against unwarranted disclosure, to include Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI) or other private/confidential data, as specifically determined by the State. Sensitive Data includes information about an individual that (1) can be used to distinguish or trace an individual‘s identity, such as name, social security number, date and place of birth, mother‘s maiden name, or biometric records; (2) is linked or linkable to an individual, such as medical, educational, financial, and employment information; (3) falls within the definition of “personal information” under Md. Code Ann., Com. Law § 14-3501(d); or (4) falls within the definition of “personal information" under Md. Code Ann., State Govt. § 10-1301(c).

  • Environmentally sensitive area means any area in which plant or animal life or their habitats are either rare or especially valuable because of their special nature or role in an ecosystem and which could be easily disturbed or degraded by human activities and developments.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Competitively Sensitive Information means non-public information and data specific to a utility customer which the utility acquired or developed in the course of its provision of utility services. This includes, without limitation, information about which customers have or have not chosen to opt out of community choice aggregation service. (See D.97-12-088, App. A, Part I.D.)

  • Contractor attributional/proprietary information means information that identifies the contractor(s), whether directly or indirectly, by the grouping of information that can be traced back to the contractor(s) (e.g., program description, facility locations), personally identifiable information, as well as trade secrets, commercial or financial information, or other commercially sensitive information that is not customarily shared outside of the company.

  • Massive Multiauthor Collaboration Site (or “MMC Site”) means any World Wide Web server that publishes copyrightable works and also provides prominent facilities for anybody to edit those works. A public wiki that anybody can edit is an example of such a server. A “Massive Multiauthor Collaboration” (or “MMC”) contained in the site means any set of copyrightable works thus published on the MMC site.

  • sensitive area means any of the following—

  • technical and organisational security measures means those measures aimed at protecting personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.

  • Defective Work means (a) Work that is unsatisfactory, deficient or damaged, does not conform to the Contract Documents, or does not meet the requirements of any inspection, test or approval, or (b) Work associated with punch list items that the Contractor fails to complete within a reasonable time after issuance of the punch list by the Project Manager.

  • piece-work means any work the pay for which is estimated by the amount of work performed irrespective of the time occupied in its performance;

  • License Elements means the following high-level license attributes as selected by Licensor and indicated in the title of this License: Attribution, ShareAlike.

  • Contractor Materials means Materials owned or developed prior to the provision of the Work, or developed by Contractor independently from the provision of the Work and without use of the Court Materials or Confidential Information.

  • Sensitive property means property potentially dangerous to the public safety or security if stolen, lost, or misplaced, or that shall be subject to exceptional physical security, protection, control, and accountability. Examples include weapons, ammunition, explosives, controlled substances, radioactive materials, hazardous materials or wastes, or precious metals.

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • The Works/ Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Urgent Works means any urgent measures, which in the opinion of the Engineer-in-charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or which become necessary for security.
