Relevant Daily Pay definition

Relevant Daily Pay has the meaning as provided by the Holidays Act 2003.

Examples of Relevant Daily Pay in a sentence

  • Leave taken under this clause shall be paid at Relevant Daily Pay or otherwise in accordance with the Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000.

  • The period of Stress Leave taken shall be paid at Relevant Daily Pay.

  • OLP is a new calculation intended to replace the existing Relevant Daily Pay and Ordinary Weekly Pay calculations.

  • For all other types of leave, employees must be paid their Relevant Daily Pay, or if impractical or the employee’s daily pay within the relevant pay period is variable, their Average Daily Pay.

More Definitions of Relevant Daily Pay

Relevant Daily Pay has the meaning as provided by the Holidays Xxx 0000. From 1 October 2013 continuous service means any period of service with the same employer provided service is not broken by more than three calendar months or by reason of redundancy in which the employee has received redundancy compensation.
Relevant Daily Pay means what an employee would have been paid if they had worked on the day concerned. Any such calculation shall include the appropriate rate for the time, any regular overtime payments, productivity or incentive payments, any allowances applicable or other payments if those payments would have been received had the employee worked that day.
Relevant Daily Pay for the purposes of calculating payment for a public holiday, bereavement leave, sick leave, domestic violence leave and employment relations education leave means the amount of pay the employee would have received had the employee worked on the day concerned and shall include payments for overtime and allowances (excluding reimbursements) if those payments would have been received on the day concerned.
Relevant Daily Pay means, for the purposes of calculating payment for a public holiday, an alternative holiday, sick leave or bereavement leave means the amount of pay that the employee would have received had the employee worked on the day concerned.
