REIT Units definition

REIT Units means units of participating interest in the REIT created in accordance with the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and includes a fraction of a unit of the REIT, but for the avoidance of doubt, does not include a Special Voting Unit.
REIT Units means, collectively, the Units and the Special Trust Units; “RESP” means a registered education savings plan;
REIT Units means, collectively, Units and Special Voting Units;

Examples of REIT Units in a sentence

  • Each REIT Unit shall have the rights and be governed by the provisions set forth in this Agreement; and none of such REIT Units shall have any preemptive rights, or give the holders thereof any cumulative voting rights.

  • In the event that any exchange ratio referred to herein would in any case result in a former holder of Extendicare Shares being entitled to a fractional REIT Unit or Exchangeable LP Unit, such REIT Units or Exchangeable LP Units shall be rounded to the nearest whole number, provided that each beneficial former holder of Extendicare Shares, shall be entitled to the benefit of only one adjustment in respect of each of such holder’s REIT Units or Exchangeable LP Units.

  • Certificates representing REIT Units shall not be issued; provided, however, that the Manager may provide that some or all of the REIT Units shall be certificated.

  • Each such additional Member shall be admitted as a Member as of the date of acceptance of its Capital Contribution by the Manager, at which time the Manager shall cause the REIT to issue to such Person such number of REIT Units or Preferred Units, as determined by the Manager in its sole discretion.

  • Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, the Partners acknowledge that the Partnership’s only power to manage the affairs of the Subsidiary REIT will consist of its right, as the holder of the Subsidiary REIT Units, to elect the members of the Subsidiary REIT Board in accordance with Section 4.3(b).


More Definitions of REIT Units

REIT Units means, collectively, Units, Special Voting Units and Exchangeable Securities;
REIT Units means the limited liability company interests in the REIT designated as such with the rights, powers and duties set forth herein, and expressed in the number set forth on Exhibit A, as such exhibit may be amended from time to time.
REIT Units means, collectively, the Class A REIT Units, Class F REIT Units and Class I REIT Units and includes a fraction of a unit and any other classes of units authorized by the Trustees as such.
REIT Units means, collectively, the Units and the Special Trust Units.
REIT Units means the outstanding units of the REIT other than the Special Voting Units and the Preferred Units authorized and issued pursuant to the Declaration of Trust.
REIT Units means the units of the REIT designated as “Trust Units” under the REIT Declaration of Trust outstanding at any particular time, and “REIT Unit” means any one of them (together with the associated URP Rights), and for greater certainty includes units of the REIT issued pursuant to the Plan of Arrangement.
