Ordinary Time Rate of Pay definition

Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the weekly wage rate prescribed in Part B, Monetary Rates, Table 1 – Wages – Ordinary Time Rate of Pay, of this Agreement for a particular level.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means remuneration received by an Employee whilst working during his/her ordinary hours of work but exclusive of any overtime, travelling expenses, motor vehicle allowance or meal allowance. Exclusive of unusual hours loading if applicable.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the single time hourly rate of pay applicable to the classification of the employee as follows:

Examples of Ordinary Time Rate of Pay in a sentence

  • The Shift Allowances set out in (a) and (b) above are paid in addition to the Employee's applicable Ordinary Time Rate of Pay.

  • Employees required to attend for jury service during rostered working hours shall be reimbursed by the Employer an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of attendance for such jury service and the Ordinary Time Rate of Pay in respect of those hours the Employee would have worked had the Employee not been on jury service.

  • The Ordinary Hours of a Full Time Employee on Shift Work or Continuous Shift Work shall be paid at the applicable Ordinary Time Rate of Pay for the Employee's classification.

  • The Ordinary Hours of a Full Time Employee on Day Work shall be paid at the applicable Ordinary Time Rate of Pay for the Employee's classification.

  • Subject to paragraph (d) below, all hours worked by a Casual Employee shall be paid at the applicable Ordinary Time Rate of Pay for the Employee's classification.


More Definitions of Ordinary Time Rate of Pay

Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the hourly rate of pay for each classification as set out in Appendix A.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the weekly wage in clause 11.3 and 12 for the relevant classification and divided by 38 where the reference is in relation to an hourly rate.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means an employee’s base rate of pay, as specified in clause 9.1 (i.e. excluding shift penalties, overtime, allowances, bonuses and other penalty payments).
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the base rate of pay which an employee is paid. This term excludes overtime, penalty rates, shift and sleepover allowances and Saturday and Sunday rates.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means in respect of superannuation contributions, workers compensation payments, and payments due in respect of paid leave periods and public holidays, “ordinary time” (or such other like term) earnings or pay shall subject to applicable legislation, be calculated on the basis of the employee’s ordinary hourly rate of pay under this Agreement plus any applicable shift loading and weekly allowances in the Agreement. It excludes all extraneous allowances or payments, loadings, daily allowances, bonuses, incentive payments and the like.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the rate of pay for your classification specified in the competency based classification structure.
Ordinary Time Rate of Pay means the ordinary time rate of pay for the Employee concerned. Therefore, this rate shall exclude penalty rates, shift allowances and any other applicable allowances or loadings under this Agreement.
