Examples of Lot of record in a sentence
Lot of record means any lot for which a deed or registered land survey has been recorded in the office of the register of deeds or the register of titles for Hennepin County, Minnesota, prior to the effective date of this section, after approval by the city council if required.
Lot of record means a lot that is part of a subdivision, the map of which has been recorded in the office of the county recorder of deeds, or a lot that is described by metes and bounds, the description of which has been recorded in the office of the recorder of deeds.

Section 9-801 Lot of record When a lot which is an official lot of record at the time of adoption of this title does not comply with the area, yard or other requirements of this title, an application may be submitted to the Board of Appeals for a variance from the terms of this title in accordance with the procedure outlined in CHAPTER 10.
A one time subdivision creating one Lot from a Nonconforming Lot of record (Lot existing prior to April 21, 1999) shall be allowed if each Lot resulting from the Subdivision meets the minimum Lot Area of the Zoning District.
