Investment Personnel definition

Investment Personnel of the Adviser means (i) any employee of the Adviser (or of any company in a control relationship to the Adviser) who, in connection with his or her regular functions or duties, makes or participates in making recommendations regarding the purchase or sale of securities by an Investment Company or (ii) any natural person who controls the Adviser and who obtains information concerning recommendations made to an Investment Company regarding the purchase or sale of securities by an Investment Company.
Investment Personnel means (a) any Portfolio Manager of the Firm; (b) any employee of the Firm (or of any company in a control relationship to a Fund or the Firm) who, in connection with his regular functions or duties, makes or participates in making recommendations regarding the purchase or sale of securities by the Firm, including securities analysts and traders; or (c) any person who controls a Fund or the Firm and who obtains information concerning recommendations made to any Fund or Portfolio regarding the purchase or sale of securities by the Fund or Portfolio.
Investment Personnel means any employee, other than a Portfolio Manager who, in connection with his/her regular functions or duties, makes or participates in, the making of investment decisions affecting an investment company. Investment Personnel also include the staff who support a Portfolio Manager including analysts, administrative assistants, etc. Investment Personnel by definition are Access Persons.

Examples of Investment Personnel in a sentence

The Fund must maintain a record of any decision, and the reasons supporting the decision, to approve the acquisition by Investment Personnel of securities under Section IV, for at least five years after the end of the fiscal year in which the approval is granted.

Investment Personnel means any full or part time Employee of Invesco Advisers, Inc. or any full or part time Employee of any Invesco Advisers, Inc.’s affiliates who, in connection with his or her regular functions or duties, makes or participates in making recommendations regarding the purchase or sale of Covered Securities by Clients or any natural person who Controls a Client or an investment adviser and who obtains information concerning recommendations made to the Client regarding the purchase or sale of securities by the Client as defined in Rule 17j-1.
Investment Personnel means a person who makes or participates in making decisions regarding the purchase or sale of securities by or on behalf of any Client and any person such as an analyst or trader who directly assists in the process. Such employees shall include, but are not limited to, Portfolio Managers, Assistant Portfolio Managers, research analysts, research associates, traders and trade operations personnel. All Investment Personnel are also deemed Access Persons.
