Building activity definition

Building activity means erection, re-erection, making material alteration, or demolition of any building.
Building activity means any building works performed by a Contractor, or a supplier on a property and/or on the Estate but shall exclude emergency repair or emergency maintenance work required as a result of any insurable damage caused to the property or to buildings or structures erected on the property.

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).

  • Gross Floor Area means the total floor area, measured between the outside of exterior walls or between the outside of exterior walls and the centre line of party walls dividing the building from another building, of all floors above the average level of finished ground adjoining the building at its exterior walls;

  • mixed-use building means a building or structure containing a residential and non- residential use other than a home occupation;

  • Building Operating Expenses means the portion of “Operating Expenses,” as that term is defined in Section 4.2.7 below, allocated to the tenants of the Building pursuant to the terms of Section 4.3.1 below.

  • Grave space means a space of ground in a cemetery that is used or intended to be used for an in-ground burial.
