Balancing Gas Contract definition

Balancing Gas Contract means a contract for the purchase or sale of Balancing Gas as described in section 5.2.4;
Balancing Gas Contract means an agreement between the Transporter and a supplier of Natural Gas (being a Shipper or a Third Party Shipper) to provide Natural Gas to maintain a safe operation of the Transportation System;
Balancing Gas Contract means an agreement between the Utility and a shipper of natural gas to provide natural gas for the safe maintenance and operation of the transmission system; "bulk customer" means a customer that purchases or receives a natural gas product of an amount or level that the Commmission may specify;

Examples of Balancing Gas Contract in a sentence

  • For the avoidance of doubt nothing in this Section 2.2.3 shall be construed as preventing a party from participating in a tender process (in accordance with its terms) solely in respect of a Shrinkage Gas Contract or a Balancing Gas Contract.

  • Failure to take delivery of or make delivery of (as the case may be) Balancing Gas when requested constitutes grounds for termination of a Framework Member’s Balancing Gas Contract in accordance with the terms of the Balancing Gas Contract.

  • A Balancing Gas Contract shall be awarded following a competitive tender.

  • For the purposes of this Code, where Balancing Gas Services for the sale of Balancing Gas have been procured by means other than a Tender pursuant to section 5.2.7 of this Code, references to a Sell Provider shall include the Shipper which is party to such Balancing Gas Contract and references to Contract Sale Nomination and Contract Sale Quantity shall be construed accordingly.

  • Where Balancing Gas Services have been procured by means other than a Tender, for the purposes of this section 5.3 the Procuring NI Network Operators shall treat any such Balancing Gas Contract as though it has the last place in the Ranked Order including where the provisions of section 5.3.8 have been applied.

  • Where, pursuant to section 5.3.8, the Procuring NI Network Operators move a Balancing Gas Contract to the bottom of the Ranked Order, the relevant Procuring NI Network Operator will inform the relevant Framework Member accordingly.

  • All the rules and payments to be applied within the scope of the Balancing Gas Contract are determined within the framework of the provisions of the agreement to be signed between the Transporter and the Shipper.

  • Committees with open membership, meaning interested persons can join at any time.

  • Gas Balancing Agreement means any agreement or arrangement whereby any Loan Party, or any other party having an interest in any hydrocarbons to be produced from Mineral Interests in which any Loan Party owns an interest, has a right to take more than its proportionate share of production therefrom.

  • Interconnection Agreement means the interconnection agreement entered into by Seller pursuant to which the Facility will be interconnected with the Transmission System, and pursuant to which Seller’s Interconnection Facilities and any other Interconnection Facilities will be constructed, operated and maintained during the Contract Term.

  • Offtake Agreement means any refining, smelting, brokering, sale, marketing and/or processing agreement entered into by the Owner or its Affiliates with respect to Minerals produced from the Property;

  • EPC Contract means the Seller’s engineering, procurement and construction contract with the EPC Contractor.

  • Project Contract means a Project Contract as such term is defined in the RfP; “Proposal” means a Proposal as such term is defined in the RfP;

  • Connection Contract means a contract under which Distributed Generation is connected to the Network entered into by the Distributor and a Distributed Generator in accordance with Part 6 of the Code, and, for the purposes of this Agreement, the Distributor and a Distributed Generator are deemed to have entered into a Connection Contract if the regulated terms in Part 6 of the Code apply;

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • Supply contract means a contract under which a lessor buys or leases goods to be leased.

  • Generation Interconnection Agreement means the generation interconnection agreement to be entered into separately between Seller and PGE, providing for the construction, operation, and maintenance of interconnection facilities required to accommodate deliveries of Seller's Net Output.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Gathering System means that portion of Gatherer’s pipeline system, including all appurtenances thereto, related to the provision of gathering and transportation services provided by Gatherer pursuant to this tariff.

  • Oil and Gas Hedging Contracts means any oil and gas purchase or hedging agreement, and other agreement or arrangement, in each case, that is designed to provide protection against oil and gas price fluctuations.

  • Interconnection Service Agreement means an agreement among the Transmission Provider, an Interconnection Customer and an Interconnected Transmission Owner regarding interconnection under Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. Transmission Provider: The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • O&M Contract means the operation and maintenance contract that may be entered into between the Concessionaire and the O&M Contractor for performance of all or any of the O&M obligations;
