Examples of Natural Gas in a sentence

  • Since the 1950s, there has been a significant advancement in the design and construction technology for salt caverns.• In Canada, the first salt caverns engineered for gas storage were constructed in Saskatchewan in 1963.** r Natural gas is injected through a pipeline into underground storage reservoirs such as salt caverns when demand is lower than supply.

  • Natural gas prices obtained by the Company are predominantly influenced by North American supply and demand.

  • Natural gas does not burn as hot as propane, so the oil will take longer to get hot.

  • This water will dissolve the salt in the deposit, and be cycled back up the well, leaving an empty space that the salt used to occupy.r Natural gas stored in a salt cavern may be more readily (and quickly) withdrawn, and caverns may be replenished with natural gas more quickly than other types of storage facilities.

  • Natural gas, and later also hydrogen, will play a key role in the future development of the Czech economy.

More Definitions of Natural Gas

Natural Gas means any hydrocarbons or mixture of hydrocarbons and other gases consisting primarily of methane which at a temperature of fifteen (15) Celsius and at atmospheric pressure are or is predominantly in the gaseous state;
Natural Gas means a naturally occurring mixture of hydrocarbon gases and other gases;
Natural Gas means hydrocarbons that are in a gaseous phase at atmospheric conditions of temperature and pressure, including wet mineral gas, dry mineral gas, casing head gas and residue gas remaining after the extraction or separation of liquid hydrocarbons from wet gas, and non-hydrocarbon gas produced in association with liquid or gaseous hydrocarbons
Natural Gas means naturally occurring methane with no more than 20% by volume of inert or other constituents.
Natural Gas means wet gas, dry gas, all other gaseous hydrocarbons, and all substances contained therein, including sulphur, carbondioxide and nitrogen but excluding extraction of helium, which are produced from Oil or Gas Xxxxx, excluding those condensed or extracted liquid hydrocarbons that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, and including the residue gas remaining after the condensation or extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from gas.
Natural Gas means a naturally occurring fluid mixture of hydrocarbons (e.g., methane, ethane, or propane) produced in geological formations beneath the Earth's surface that maintains a gaseous state at standard atmospheric temperature and pressure under ordinary conditions. Natural gas contains 20.0 grains or less of total sulfur per 100 standard cubic feet. Equivalents of this in other units are as follows: 0.068 weight percent total sulfur, 680 parts per million by weight (ppmw) total sulfur, and 338 parts per million by volume (ppmv) at 20 degrees Celsius total sulfur. Additionally, natural gas must either be composed of at least 70 percent methane by volume or have a gross calorific value between 950 and 1100 British thermal units (Btu) per standard cubic foot. Natural gas does not include the following gaseous fuels: landfill gas, digester gas, refinery gas, sour gas, blast furnace gas, coal-derived gas, producer gas, coke oven gas, or any gaseous fuel produced in a process which might result in highly variable sulfur content or heating value.
Natural Gas. ’ means either natural gas unmixed, or any mixture of natural and artifi- cial gas.
