Assistance calls definition

Assistance calls means calls in which the operator provides assistance or instructions to the customer. Examples include rate quotes, credit requests, trouble reports, dial assistance, and dialing instructions.

Examples of Assistance calls in a sentence

  • For example, international calls, toll free charges, Directory Assistance calls and taxes related to these calls are automatically charged to your credit balance account.

  • Live operators handling Operator Services and Directory Assistance calls from AT&T local service customers will identify themselves as AT&T operators; where such rebranding is not technically feasible, such live operator response will be provided on an unbranded basis.
