Area Team definition

Area Team means one of the local teams that act on behalf of NHS England in each of their respective 27 areas of England, with responsibility for primary care contract management;
Area Team means the delegated function of NHS England in specific geographical areas (NB: Any references to the Area Team shall mean the regional (local geography) team); "Arm's Length Body" means one of the stand-alone national organisations sponsored by the Department of Health including without limitation the Framework Authority, any Special Health Authority, executive agency, public interest company and non-departmental public body; "Assets" means all assets and rights used by the Supplier to provide the Services pursuant to a Call-Off Agreement but excluding the Customer Equipment; "Assumption Cost Impact Threshold" means the threshold specified as the Assumption Cost Impact Threshold in Annex 1 of Schedule 4.1 (Charges and Invoicing) of the Call-Off Terms; "Assumption Cost Impact" means the direct, unavoidable cost impact (assuming that the Supplier takes all reasonable steps to mitigate such impact) that an inaccuracy in any Allowable Assumption will have on the Supplier's costs (as set out in the Financial Model) during the Transformation Period (but does not, for the avoidance of doubt, include any impact on the Supplier's costs after the end of the Transformation Period), as further set out in columns 4 (headed "Assumption Cost Impact") and 5 (headed "Basis of Calculation of Assumption Cost Impact") of the
Area Team means a regional outpost of NHS England; Authorisation Framework sets out the establishment criteria for Local Education and Training Boards; Authority’s Budget means the education and training budget afforded to Health Education England. This budget formerly consisted of NMET, SIFT and MADEL funding streams; Authority’s Representative shall have the meaning given in clause 6.1; Business Day means any day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England; Change in Law means the coming into effect or repeal (without re-enactment or consolidation) of any Law or any amendment or variation to any Law or any judgement of a relevant court of Law which changes binding precedent in England and Wales in each case after the date of this Agreement;

Examples of Area Team in a sentence

  • Conveners serve as principal points of contact with Curricular Area Team Leaders and the curriculum deans regarding the teaching commitments and five-year teaching plans of faculty members in their Path of Study Group.

  • The Area Team Leader shall within five (5) regular working days following the day the grievance was submitted to him/her, render a decision in writing.

  • The Opticians and Optical Area Team Leaders shall maintain their Plan B benefits, including the Employer's contribution of five percent (5%), as the issue is currently being studied by a National Task Force.

  • The faculty must make a commitment to teach in at least one of the Path of Study Groups that make up the Curricular Area Team.

  • Contractor and Functional Area Team members will determine the desired future workflow processes in conjunction with the use of the AiM system.

  • Conveners forward updated paths of study reports to the Curricular Area Team Leaders and the curriculum deans for approval.

  • Where pharmacies appear that they are not meeting the requirements of this service, the Area Team will work with the pharmacy to agree appropriate action.

  • This will be provided by an Area Team commissioned waste contractor and it will be the responsibility of the Area Team to arrange for sharps generated as part of this service to be collected from accredited pharmacies on request or at the end of the service.

  • In the event an Optician or Optical Area Team Leader is required to work at a facility other than the one he/she is normally assigned to, the following procedure will apply: The Employer shall offer the assignment in seniority order for volunteers, and if there are no volunteers, the Employer will assign individuals by reverse seniority, unless the employee has a justifiable reason for not doing so.
