Xxxxxx Administrative Leave of Absence. The Executive Director of Human Resources may authorize an employee to take an administrative leave of absence, without pay or benefits, where such leave would benefit the employee or the Employer. Each request for administrative leave of absence will be considered on its i n d i v i d u a l merits. The Employer, with the understanding that its decision will in no way establish a precedent, will review the particular circumstances surrounding each request for a leave of absence. The decision of the Employer to grant or deny a leave of absence is final and not subject to the grievance procedure.

Xxxxxx Administrative Leave of Absence. The Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources may authorize a teacher to take an administrative leave of absence, without pay, where such leave would benefit the teacher or the Employer. Should the leave be longer than thirty (30) days, the leave will be without benefits. Each request for an administrative leave of absence will be considered on its individual merits. The Employer will review the particular circumstances surrounding each request for a leave of absence with the understanding that its decision will in no way establish a precedent. The decision of the Board to grant or deny a leave of absence is final and not subject to the grievance procedure.

  • Special Leave of Absence Teachers may be granted leaves of absence without pay for one (1) year under the following criteria:

  • Long Term Leave of Absence The District may grant any employee an unpaid long-term leave of absence for up to one (1) year for study, child rearing, travel, medical, or other mutually agreed to reason(s). Where there are less than fifteen (15) regular employees at a workstation at the time the leave request is submitted, and subject to operational requirements, unpaid Union leave of absence will be granted to one employee for the purpose of conducting Union business.
