Common use of Working on a Statutory Holiday Clause in Contracts

Working on a Statutory Holiday. An eligible employee who works on a statutory holiday shall be paid time and a half. The employee shall also be given an alternate day off which shall be scheduled within one (1) month of the statutory holiday, by mutual agreement between the employee and her/his supervisor.
