Working on a Statutory Holiday. In order to be paid for a Statutory Holiday worked, the majority of the employee's working hours must fall on the actual day of the Statutory Holiday.

Time worked on a Statutory Holiday shall be paid in addition to any Statutory Holiday pay, as provided in Article 'G' 10.02. There shall be no compounding of premiums. Payment for time worked on a Statutory Holiday shall be as follows: Time Worked Rate of Pay (Times regular rate) Up to 9 1/2 hours 150% After 9 1/2 hours 200% Payment for a Statutory Holiday which falls on a Sunday will be paid 200% for all hours worked. The Employer will give three (3) days' notice to those employees who will not be required to work on a Statutory Holiday. Those who voluntarily place themselves on the draw list must be notified by 14:00 hours the day prior to the holiday. Employees will be permitted to access their Banked Overtime to cover the time off.

The employee shall also be given an alternate day off which shall be scheduled within one (1) month of the statutory holiday, by mutual agreement between the employee and her/his supervisor.
