Work on University Holidays (Gen. An employee directed by the Employer to work on a University Holiday shall be paid for any hours worked at the employee’s ordinary hourly rate and in addition the employee shall be entitled to a substitute day off in lieu, or part thereof for all ordinary hours worked, and this time shall be taken as soon as practicable but within four weeks. Where time off in lieu is unable to be taken within four weeks, the Employer and the employee may agree to make payment for ordinary hours worked at the rate of T1.

  • Annual Holidays (i) On completion of 12 months continuous service an employee shall be entitled to annual paid leave of 4 working weeks.

  • Work on Holidays Employees who work on the following holidays: New Years Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the employees regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday. For purposes of this Agreement, the holiday shall begin at 11:00 p.m. on the day preceding the holiday and will end at 11:30 p.m. on the day of the holiday. Hours worked on a holiday that are into overtime will be paid at time and a half rather than straight time.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
