Work Hours and Visibility on Campus. The SRO shall work for District on a full-time basis, based on a schedule developed by District Superintendent. It is anticipated that the SRO’s schedule will include days those students are in attendance (i.e., approximately 180 days), during normal school hours, including student arrival and dismissal times. On occasion, the SRO may be required to work evenings, for school-related events or sporting events and the SRO’s schedule and work hours will be adjusted accordingly. The SRO shall also assist with traffic control during arrival and dismissal times and checking unauthorized persons in and around District premises. Normal work hours will be 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, which will include a one-half hour lunch break and reporting to the Police Department before the start of the school day. Overtime assignments must receive prior approval from Police Department supervisory personnel.

  • Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements. Solicitation of membership and activities concerned with the internal management of the Association, such as collecting dues, holding membership meetings, campaigning for office, conducting elections and distributing literature, shall not be conducted during working hours.

  • HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Section 1.

  • Union Activity on Premises and/or Access to Premises The Union agrees that neither it, nor its officers, agents, representatives and members will engage in the solicitation of members, holding of meetings or any other Union activities on Hospital premises or on Hospital time without the prior approval of the Hospital, except as specifically provided for in this Agreement. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.

  • Work Hours Except in emergencies, the standard work week of full-time unit employees shall normally consist of five (5) days of eight (8) hours each, exclusive of lunch hour. Each employee shall be assigned regular starting and ending times, which shall not be changed without prior notice. Should an employee be required to work during his/her lunch hour, the length of such interruption shall be counted as time worked unless other arrangements are made with his/her supervisor.
