CLERICAL/CLASSROOM EMPLOYEES Any teacher assistant vacancies which occur during the first semester of the school year shall first be offered, in seniority order, to the employees who worked in teacher aide positions at that worksite at the end of the previous school year, if those employees are currently in another teacher assistant position in the District. Clerical/classroom employees shall not be required but may volunteer to drive a District or school owned vehicle which does not require a Commercial Driver License to operate to transport students as a part of their work duties. HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. (a) Eight (8) hours within nine (9) consecutive hours shall constitute a day’s work. All employees who work in excess of a day’s work shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee’s regular rate of pay for such excess time. A week’s work shall consist of five (5) days followed by two (2) consecutive days off; sixth (6th) day time and one-half (1 1/2); seventh (7th) day double time. All employees required to work on their day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay.
HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 1. All employees covered by this Agreement shall receive full time employment (40 hours per week) provided they are ready and in condition to perform their work. Any employee shall not be required to take time off during basic work days in lieu of overtime worked or to be worked. Employees laid off because a job is completed or shut down for reasons beyond the Company's control shall be paid in full to the date of layoff.

HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEES Warehouse employees who enter freezer storage areas shall be provided proper shoes and clothing to protect against cold temperatures at no cost to the employee. Warehouse employees may, on certain occasions and circumstances, be provided opportunities to work in other warehouse positions in order to become familiar with the duties. When a truck assignment is vacant on a temporary basis, the most senior employee who has a Commercial Driver License shall be offered the opportunity to take the assignment.
HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 10.01. Eight (8) consecutive hours’ work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with thirty (30) minutes for an unpaid lunch period four (4) hours after the designated starting time, shall constitute the workday. Five (5) such days, Monday through Friday, shall constitute the workweek.

The basic workweek for full-time employees shall be forty (40) hours, to be worked within five (5) days or less, but nothing contained herein is a guarantee of hours to any employee. All work in excess of forty (40) hours per week or ten (10) hours per day shall be paid for at time and one-half (1-1/2). No employee shall be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime. Any employee whose work shift commences between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. shall be paid a premium of forty cents ($.40) per hour for all of the hours of his shift.
