Common use of Weekend Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Weekend Scheduling. Section 1. It is the policy of the Agency to schedule those nurses who so desire every other weekend off, with the exception of those nurses who have agreed in writing to work schedules calling for consecutive weekend work and those who express a desire in writing to work consecutive two (2)-day weekends when work is available. Nurses who have agreed to work consecutive weekends may request withdrawal of such authorization upon thirty (30) days written notice. Part-time nurses who are hired in positions requiring consecutive weekend work and full- time nurses who are hired in two-sixteen (2-16) plus an eight (8) positions requiring consecutive weekend work are exempted from this provision.
