Week Between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. It is agreed that the operation shall be closed at noon on Christmas Eve day and shall reopen on the first working day after New Year’s Day. Employees will receive this period as leave with pay and shall receive their regular pay for any regular working days that fall within this period.

  • Christmas or New Year's Day Off The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shift shall have at least Christmas Day or the following New Year's Day off.

  • Boxing Day (b) If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.

  • Christmas/New Year’s Scheduling K-1 Employees will receive at least five (5) consecutive days off at Christmas or New Year's. The Hospital will provide time off from the completion of the night shift the day before the holiday that the Employee is granted (either Christmas Day or New Year's Day). Christmas will include Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day and New Year's will include New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day.
