Wedding Day. An employee will be granted a leave of absence with pay for the wedding day of the employee or a member of his/her immediate family.

Wedding Day. An eight (8) hour period.  This eight hours includes pre-ceremony preparation, dressing, photos before/after the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and any post-ceremony activities (removal of guests, clean-up, etc.).

Wedding Day. The Photographer(s) will be provided a meal at the time the wedding party eats. Alternately, the Photographer(s) will leave for up to one hour to acquire their own meal. “Complete wedding day coverage” is defined as no more than four hours before the scheduled start of the wedding ceremony until no more than ten hours after the scheduled start of the wedding ceremony. Photography coverage is for the contracted date only and will not extend past 12:00 AM midnight.

  • Boxing Day (b) If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.

  • Christmas Day Easter Tuesday shall be observed as a Public Holiday in lieu of Easter Saturday and any work performed on Easter Saturday shall be paid at ordinary Saturday penalty rates. Should Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day or ANZAC day fall on a weekend, the following Monday, or other day as agreed shall be taken in lieu.

  • Banking Day A “Banking Day” shall mean a day on which a bank is open to the public for carrying out substantially all of its banking functions. For purposes herein, a “Banking Day” shall mean Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.
