Common use of Visits of Union Representatives Clause in Contracts

Visits of Union Representatives. ‌ After first notifying the Plant Manager or, in his absence, the person in charge, duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the plant for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees, and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. Interviews shall take place during rest and meal periods. Union Representatives shall be permitted to check employee time cards, including work schedules, and in the event of any discrepancies, they shall be presented under Article 14 of this Agreement.
