UNPAID VACATION. 12.1 A two week unpaid vacation will be, as far as practical, granted at the time most desired by the employee. Employees with five years or longer service by December 31st are entitled to a three week unpaid vacation in the following year. Vacation pay entitlement for the following year will be established based on each employee’s service at December 31st as follows: Basic entitlement - 4% of wages After 3 years - 6% of wages After 10 years - 8% of wages After 16 years - 10% of wages After 25 years - 11.5% of wages
