Unit Member Notification to District. A regular unit member shall notify the District of his/her intent to accept or refuse reemployment within ten (10) working days following the mailing of the reemployment notice. If the unit member accepts the reemployment, the unit member must report to work within thirty (30) working days following the mailing of the reemployment notice. A unit member given notice of reemployment need not accept the reemployment to maintain the unit member’s eligibility on the reemployment list, provided the unit member notifies the personnel office in writing within five (5) working days from receipt of the reemployment notice; however, after two (2) refusals, his/her name will be removed from the reemployment list. Failure to respond within ten (10) working days shall be considered a refusal.
