Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer. The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.

He or she shall deliver all funds and securities of the Fund which may come into his or her hands to such company as the Trustees shall employ as Custodian in accordance with the Agreement and applicable provisions of law. He or she shall make annual reports regarding the business and condition of the Fund, which reports shall be preserved in Fund records, and he or she shall furnish such other reports regarding the business and condition of the Fund as the Trustees may from time to time require. The Treasurer shall perform such additional duties as the Trustees or the Chief Executive Officer may from time to time designate. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President or the Treasurer.

  • Treasurer and Assistant Treasurers The Board, in its discretion, may elect a Treasurer and one or more Assistant Treasurers. The Treasurer shall keep or cause to be kept the books of account of the Company and shall render statements of the financial affairs of the Company in such form and as often as required by this Agreement, the Board or a President. The Treasurer, subject to the order of the Board, shall have the custody of all funds and securities of the Company. Each of the Assistant Treasurers shall possess the same power as the Treasurer to sign all certificates, contracts, obligations and other instruments of the Company. If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.
