Transitional Arrangements - Sick Leave. An employee working part-time under this sub-clause shall have sick leave entitlements which have accrued under this Agreement (including any entitlement accrued in respect of previous full-time employment) converted into hours. When this entitlement is used, whether as a part-time employee or as a full-time employee, it shall be debited for the ordinary hours that the employee would have worked during the period of absence.

  • Security of Employment Arrangements a) The parties covered by this Agreement acknowledge and agree that the use of Supplementary Labour may have the potential to undermine the Employee’s security of Employment.

  • SICK LEAVE PROGRAM An employee may be eligible to receive donations of paid leave to be included in the employee's sick leave balance if s/he has suffered a catastrophic illness or injury which prevents the employee from being able to work or from being able to work his/her regularly scheduled number of hours. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition considered to be terminal, or a long-term major physical impairment or disability.
