Timing of Vacations. A. Vacations will be granted at such time during the year as are suitable, considering both the wishes of the employees and efficient operation of the department concerned.

Timing of Vacations. Vacations will be granted by the Director using reasonable discretion at such time as will cause the least interference with the performance of the regular work of the department.

  • Scheduling of Vacations Vacations shall be scheduled at a time mutually acceptable to the Agency and the employee and consistent with the work requirements of the Agency. All vacation leaves require advanced written authorization by the employee's immediate supervisor.

Except under unusual circumstances, members shall not be permitted to use vacation during a period of time when they are engaged in the instructional process, including the supervision and grading of exams.
