The School Day or Working Hours. Under normal circumstances, full-time employees are expected to work thirty-nine hours per week. Usually these hours are from 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch. Media Assistants may be allowed to take a one-half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch with the approval of both the building principal and the business manager. However, these hours may vary according to school and student needs. It is up to the immediate supervisor with the approval of the Business Manager to work out any variations.

  • Extra Hours (i) (a) Any additional hours beyond base hours shall be offered in a fair and impartial manner among "A" list part-time employees in the classification and in the geographical location in which the additional hours are required. A part-time employee who is scheduled to work additional hours beyond the base hours (under the terms of Article 7) and who does not work those hours due to sickness shall be paid for such hours under the application of the sick leave provisions under Article 13 and Clause (2405).

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.
