The Plant Chairperson, the Committee persons, and the. Certified Health and Safety Representative shall not be laid off as long as work is available, for which they have the criteria factors outlined in clause 15.03 of the collective agreement, to perform, the work that is available, at the time of layoff, at the rate of the job. They will, however, bump down in class before they can bump up in seniority- they can also choose not to bump and take the layoff. If no such work is available, he will be laid off under the layoff provisions of this agreement. It is agreed and understood that such employee(s) may require adequate orientation to the place and/or situation.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.

  • Department Chairpersons The principal shall designate a high school librarian to serve as department chairperson, and such chairperson shall attend all school department chairperson meetings.

The department Chairperson is the normal channel of communications between the department and other departments, division/areas or like groupings, offices and the administration.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Calendar Committee ‌ During the fall semester each year the District shall establish a Calendar Committee. ECCE shall be entitled to appoint two voting members as its representatives on the committee.

  • Scope of the Committee The Committee shall not have the power to bind the Union or its members, or the Employer to any decision or conclusion reached in discussion. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction over any matter contained in this Collective Agreement, including its administration or renegotiation. The Committee shall not supersede the activities of any other committee of the Union or of the Employer.
