Teachers Working in Elementary Schools a. For the purposes of this Agreement, an elementary school is defined as a Pre-K, Pre-K‒5, Pre-K‒6, Pre-K‒7, or Pre-K‒8 building. Teachers assigned to these buildings will be considered elementary teachers. The teacher shall be in their building 15 minutes before, and respective classroom five (5) minutes before, their first student responsibility at the beginning of the school day and be at their place of assignment at the beginning of the afternoon session. The teacher shall remain on duty after student dismissal to ensure appropriate professional responsibilities, including provisions for the safe departure of students, are fulfilled. In common practice, this requires remaining at school approximately 15 minutes after the last student responsibility.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved.

  • Supervisors Working (a) The work of Supervisors will not include assignment to work normally performed by employees of the bargaining unit except for training or demonstration. “Training or demonstration” shall not be used as a subterfuge for the performing of any bargaining unit work. Any claimed abuses will be referred to the Grievance Procedure. Where possible, the shop xxxxxxx will be notified.   • Projects The Annexes attached hereto describe the specific projects and the policy reforms and other activities related thereto (each, a “Project”) that the Government will carry out, or cause to be carried out, in furtherance of this Compact to achieve the Objectives and the Compact Goal.

  • Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • Unsafe Working Conditions (a) No Employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work on a job which is deemed unsafe by:
